Other Australia Invoice Questions Internal
What should I do if I have questions about invoice charges and line items?
Please reach out to Velocity Global through your normal process, and we will help you with any questions relating to invoice charges.
What are the taxes listed on the invoice, and why might they be different on each invoice?
Please see the Line-Item Descriptions article for more information on the individual taxes.
For Australia, the employer contributions and taxes listed on the invoice are the superannuation contribution, payroll tax, workers’ compensation, and fringe benefits taxes (if applicable). The amounts of contributions and taxes may fluctuate depending on whether your supported employee receives any kind of compensation outside the regular salary. If your supported employee receives a one-off bonus or another kind of payment, the contributions and taxes due will also increase.
Superannuation, or “super,” is money you put aside for your supported employee throughout their employment toward a future pension.
Some expense reimbursements submitted by the supported employees may be subject to fringe benefits taxes (FBT). FBT is a tax paid by employers that provide certain benefits to employees that are not subject to regular income tax. For example, FBT is paid on a variety of reportable fringe benefits, including company cars, car parking, health insurance, reimbursement of school fees, or meal entertainment.
How can I receive a deposit refund?
You can expect to receive your deposit refund 45 days after the termination date of your supported employee.
