What are the public holidays in India?
The following days are national public holidays in India:

What is the probation period in India?
There are no statutory minimum or maximum probation periods in India. Probationary periods are, however, standard practice for entry and mid-level positions, and are typically between three and six months, but should ideally not exceed 240 days.
What is the notice period in India?
The minimum statutory notice period varies depending on the type of employment and the type of employee. The standard notice period in Velocity Global’s employment agreement for India is 30 days, and this is generally compliant with local law. The notice period during probation is the same.
What are the working hours in India?
Standard working hours in India are nine hours per day (including a break) for five days per week. Generally, overtime must be paid if an employee works over nine hours in a day or 48 hours in a week.
