What, if any, additional sickness benefits are provided in Spain?
Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement applicable to Velocity Global's entity, your supported employees are entitled to additional sickness benefits. You must pay the difference between what the social security system pays and the supported employee's regular salary from the 5th day (included) of sick leave (both occupational and non-occupational) for up to 12 months. This is only applicable to supported employees who are (or are expected to be) on medical leave for over 30 days. Additionally, supported employees sick with COVID-19 are covered up to 75% of their salary.
Please note that if these benefits are not paid, your supported employees are still entitled to claim them.
Does Velocity Global provide travel insurance?
Velocity Global does not currently offer a travel insurance plan for Spain; however, an allowance may be provided instead.
