What should I do if I have questions about invoice charges and line items?

What are the taxes listed on the invoice?

Why might taxes be different on each invoice?

Tax amounts may fluctuate depending on the invoice and/or time of year, though they should remain relatively consistent in Spain. Any kind of compensation outside of a supported employee’s regular salary is also subject to taxes, so if a supported employee receives a one-off bonus or another kind of payment, the amount of tax due will also increase.

As there are maximum monthly limits for employer contributions, any one-off changes in compensation could impact whether these maximum contributions are reached.

Additionally, if a supported employee goes on sick leave or parental leave, the compensation paid to them (and therefore the taxes due) may decrease because of payment coming from social security funds.

How can I receive a deposit refund?

You can expect to receive your deposit refund 45 days after the termination date of your supported employee.
