How do I enter time off in the technology platform for my supported employees?
On the global talent view, navigate to the relevant worker’s profile. Go to the Time Off section of their profile and select the New Time Off Request button (shown below). Enter the relevant information on the modal that pops up to submit and approve the time off request.
How do I approve paid time off (PTO) in the technology platform?
There are two ways that you can approve time off:
- On the Global Talent View, navigate to the relevant worker’s profile. Go to the Time Off section of their profile. If there are any unapproved time off requests, they will show under the Upcoming Time Off Requests section. Here, you can either select the checkbox or X to approve or reject the request.
- On the Time Off view, under the Time Off Requests section, all time off requests will show, along with their current status. Any requests that need to be approved will show the status of Pending Approval or Approval Overdue. If you click on the Time Off Request, more information will show on the right-hand side, where you can select Approve or Reject.
Can I download a time off report from the technology platform?
Yes. On the Time Off view, apply filters for the information that you would like to view. Then select the gear icon on the right-hand side and select Download data as .csv.
How can I access my supported employees' payslips in the technology platform?
Only supported employees can access payslips because they are considered confidential information.
As a supported employee, it is possible to access your payslips in the technology platform by navigating to the Documents tab from your profile. Under Documents, there is a Payslip Documents section where you can see your payslips.
How do I update an HR manager in the technology platform?
Please note that you must be designated as a Company Admin to perform this task. First, go to the company's page by clicking the toolbox icon at the top of the screen. Once here, navigate to the tab labeled Users. From there, you can see the list of all HR and PTO managers. You can select an existing HR manager record from the list to edit their information or access, or you can add a new HR or PTO (Paid Time Off) manager by selecting the + Create New User button at the top of the page.
Can you input ad hoc (such as bonus or commission) payments to the technology platform instead of us inputting them?
Although our internal team members have the capability to input ad hoc payroll items, we empower all of our clients to own this step of supported employee management. Having you enter these items ensures additional accuracy and gives our team confidence when approving the payroll items.
Where can we locate the paid time off (PTO) accruals for our supported employees?
From the Global Talent view, navigate to the relevant supported employee’s profile. Go to the Time Off tab. Under the Time Off Information dropdown, there will be a section where you can see the supported employee’s accrual policies and associated accrual balances.
What should I do when the technology platform is not loading or gives a blank screen?

How can I access my invoices from Velocity Global?
Company Admins or Client Billing Contacts can access the invoice dashboard by navigating to Profile > Billing and Invoices.
