No, a supported employee in the U.S. cannot begin work before their hire date with Velocity Global. 

Can we pay the salary in a different currency than the local currency?

All earnings of supported employees in the U.S. will be paid in USD. 

Should we classify our talent as a contractor or an employee?

Velocity Global operates as an EoR (Employer of Record) in the U.S. and we classify our talent as supported employees.
