What should I do if I have questions about invoice charges and line items?
Please reach out to Velocity Global through your normal process, and we will help you with any questions relating to invoice charges.
What are the taxes listed on the invoice?
Please see the Canada Line-Item Descriptions article for more information on the individual taxes.
Why might taxes be different on each invoice?
Taxes may fluctuate depending on the invoice and/or time of year. Several employer contributions are subject to annual maximum contributions, which means that contributions can be higher in earlier months of the year and taper off as the year progresses.
Any kind of compensation other than your supported employee’s regular salary will also increase the amount of employer tax due. If annual maximums have not been met, then the employer tax burden will increase for that pay period. For example, if your supported employee receives a one-off bonus or other extra payment, the amount of employer tax due will also increase.
How can I receive a deposit refund?
You can expect to receive your deposit refund 45 days after the termination date of your supported employee.
Can I view invoices in your technology platform?
Yes, you can view our invoice packages using Velocity Global’s cloud-based web application.
